I made this for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day 2001. It is solid oak with the major structural joinery using biscuits. (I know, I know, this is cheating, but I was in a rush to finish the job.) The drawers are half-blind dovetailed poplar with oak faces. Finish is water-based poly rubbed out by hand.
