Digby Billiard Rehab
A really nice example of the Digby Billiard. My local pipe expert tells me that Digbys where a
second line for GBD using the same fine briar.
This pipe has been thoroughly rehabbed inside and out. The bowl has
been taken down to nearly bare briar and recoated with pipe maker's
char starter. Both bowl and smokehole have been treated to draw the
old tar and residues out of the wood. There are some light tooth
marks left on the stem and a slight burn on the rim that could not be
polished out.
